Psalms 23

 You, dear Jesus are my Protector, Provider, Sustainer, Advocate. 

When my heart is on You, You enable me to feel the breeze of calmness. Though barrenness surrounds me, with You I feel the hope of who You are support me. You hydrate me. Your spirit living in me swells to saturate my entire being. On the outside I may look abandoned, weak and defeated, but inside my spirit is strong. I can rise from the fetal position and stand. You fill me so full my body can’t contain all Your hydration. Your Spirit seeps out of me leaving a trail which leads others to Your glory, in all circumstances, even when I’m unaware.

There are times when Your evil enemy, Satan attacks. Because I know who You are, I run to shelter; the place saturated by You. As trials continue surging in like a tsunami, Your Spirit awakens me to Your blessings. I am provided for. I fill with Your sustenance.

Resting in Your presence, You set me apart. You anoint me as a Holy vessel. You use my experiences, wisdom learned, and my daily life as a masterpiece in representing You. No situation or experience is wasted. You give hope.  You give purpose. 

I have a God story! My love for You compels my sharing it. In spite of pain I feel joy. Your joy brings peace, hope, love. You’re delighting in me and my heart in You. I get the honor of accenting You. You are exalted. You are priceless. You are I Am.

No matter the circumstance, Your goodness and mercy encompass me. 

Am I active in looking for it? When I find it, do I drop the role of victim and boldly stand? My heart may believe but professions from my mouth bring the victory.

Though the worst may happen, You walk the path with me. When the path comes to an end, you bring out the signet ring, wrap me in Your robe and give me life with You forever!
